FAQ

What kind of art can be licensed?
expand_less
expand_more
Fine art, illustration, photography, traditional art, and digital art. Art licensing is commercial and any medium that can work on a product or in a store applies. This guide applies to all of those.
Do you include email addresses in your list of companies?

expand_more
No. This would be a violation of privacy, but also, sometimes art directors change positions so they aren't always accurate. I did include artist submission pages if I had them to share. I made it as easy as possible for you ethically to get the information you need.
Do I really get updated copies of it for free?
expand_less
expand_more
100% yes. I want you to thrive. You must add yourself to an email list to get the updates. This information is provided in the guide.
Will this help me if I don't live in the United States?
expand_less
expand_more

Yes. I have included companies around the world.

The list is heavily U.S. based but does include companies from other countries and I have listed where they're from inside.

Additionally, most companies work with artists all over the world so location is not an obstacle.

Will this really help me to license my art?

Art licensing is not a get-rich-quick-scheme and this book will not guarantee instant success. You do have to put in the work and it does not happen overnight. However, everything I have learned and personally do to license my art is included in this guide. It truly is a great resource and will help you if you follow it and put the work in.
