The word "giclée" comes from the French verb gicler, which means "to squirt" or "to spray". This refers to the inkjet printer's process of applying ink to the paper or canvas.
We have a 30-day return policy on all original paintings, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
All of my fine art prints are made to order. In the rare event that an item arrives damaged or not in perfect condition, we will arrange for a replacement for you within 30 days. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our products and if something goes wrong, we will make it right.
For prints and products that arrive in perfect condition, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges or change of mind as we do not hold inventory.
As many of my art pieces are sent directly from a framer or fine art printer, please do not send your purchase back to the fine art printer, framer or manufacturer on your shipping label. I cannot guarantee that your purchase will be able to be received safely and this may result in a loss of your purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@juliemaida.com. If your return is accepted, I'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
