This is the most frequently asked question I get and the answer is yes! I love to work directly with people to create custom meaningful art. I work with customers, home builders, interior designers, and even commercial spaces and retail stores to create work that will fit your space perfectly. 

Usually, people who want to work with me have an appreciation for nature, value peaceful living and beautiful surroundings, and they want a space that feels "like them".

All of my art is handmade using traditional mixed media. Artistic reproductions (prints) are giclée, museum-quality prints and they have a 100-year color guarantee. All of my products (including tea towels, journals, and tote bags), are in the U.S.A. 

If you order multiple types of products (ie a canvas print and an artisan tote), they may arrive in separate packages, as I work with multiple specialized printing partners, each focused on a specific area of expertise.

How to hang framed canvases:

1. Framed canvases come ready to hang. Use the small ledge between the wooden frame and the canvas. They are designed to hang flush against the wall if you choose this method.

2. Alternatively, you can also use a wire hanging kit. I have created detailed instructions for how to do this here. I recommend a hanging kit for art that is 20"x20" or larger for additional security (on the wall). 

Saw tooth hangers are not recommended for canvas prints.

How to hang unframed prints:

For unframed canvas prints, please use a wire hanging kit.

Will it look okay in my space?

If you love a piece of art, but you aren't sure if it will look good in your space, you can request a mock up of the art in your home. This is a free service I provide for my customers!

What is your return policy?

I have a 100% happiness guarantee. In the extremely rare event that your artwork or product doesn't arrive in perfect condition, I will issue a full refund or exchange of your order within 30 days.

Contact me with details of the damage / quality issue and I will arrange for a refund or a replacement for you as soon as possible.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

If you order multiple types of products (ie a canvas print and an artisan tote), they may arrive in separate packages, as I work with multiple specialized printing partners, each focused on a specific area of expertise.

DELIVERY TIMES:

PRINTS & PRODUCTS: Please allow 5-10 days for processing and delivery. It most cases, you can expect to receive your order in about 7-10 days. My work is not mass-produced and each piece is designed and printed specifically for you.

ORIGINALS: Please allow 3-12 business days for me to sign your piece, custom frame it (if applicable), and ship it to you. Original artworks are shipped from my home studio in Virginia. If you have a special request on an original, contact me before placing your order.

RETURNS: If you are unsatisfied for any reason due to a product that arrives in less-than-perfect condition, I will refund or exchange your item within 30 days of purchase. Returns are free.

To be eligible for a return on an original, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

As many of my art pieces are sent directly from my art framer or my fine art printer, please do not send your purchase back to the fine art printer.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returns on digital downloads are not accepted (due to the nature of the product). However, your satisfaction is very important and you can always feel free to reach out to me at hello@juliemaida.com if you ever need help or have a problem with a product.
