This original watercolor painting was inspired by a winter drive I took through Virginia. Even though winter often seems barren and gray, there is something transitory about it - it's like time is frozen and waiting for Spring to take hold and bring everything back to life. 

Painted in a deep beautiful teal, and featuring watercolor texture-y goodness, this abstract minimal landscape is one-of-a-kind. The art is created using a combination of water, salt, paint, and careful timing. It's especially unique because a lot of the results happen unexpectedly and I can't recreate the same thing twice even if I want to which means it's truly unique - each one is like a thumb print!

If you order multiple types of products, they will arrive in separate packages, as I work with multiple specialized printing partners, each focused on a specific area of expertise.

DELIVERY TIMES:

PRINTS & PRODUCTS: Please allow 5-10 days for processing and delivery. It most cases, you can expect to receive your order in about a week.

ORIGINALS: Please allow 3-10 business days for me to sign your piece, custom frame it (if applicable), and ship it to you. Original artworks are shipped from my home studio in Virginia. If you have a special request on an original, contact me before placing your order.

RETURNS:

If you are unsatisfied for any reason due to a product that arrives in less-than-perfect condition, I will refund or exchange your item within 30 days of purchase. Returns are free.

To be eligible for a return on an original, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

As many of my art pieces are sent directly from my art framer or my fine art printer, please do not send your purchase back to the fine art printer. Contact me directly at hello@juliemaida.com.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

How to hang framed canvases:

1. Framed canvases come ready to hang. Use the small ledge between the wooden frame and the canvas. They are designed to hang flush against the wall if you choose this method.

2. Alternatively, you can also use a wire hanging kit. I have created detailed instructions for how to do this here.

Saw tooth hangers are not recommended for canvas prints.
